Challah, Chessed and More!

This week was a fun and busy week! We’re enjoying the new routine of our classes and still making some changes as we fine tune our schedules.

On Saturday night the Shana Bet girls took a nice trek to Gruss for some late night slichot. It was a great way to start off our week. Shana Alef started off their week by going to their Rakezet's homes on Sunday night. They schmoozed, learned, ate and had a great time prepping for Rosh Hashanah.

On Monday, Manny’s came to sell all of the essential sefarim that a sem student must have! They were popping with business - all of the girls were so excited to buy their new sefarim. On Tuesday the Shana bet girls went to the airport to greet their Madricha, Leora Clair, from last year who made ALIYAH!! It was a great moment seeing her coming off the plane in her new HOME! MAZAL TOV! That night the Shana Alef girls baked Challot with their Madrichot and Eim Bayit, Dena – they had a blast and the challot came out beautiful.

On Wednesday, the Shana Alef girls went on an amazing Chessed Tiyul to Siach v’Sod. They made honey jars with children who have special needs and then enjoyed Moshikos for dinner at Gan Hashachar. It was a great way for them to get to know each other outside of the classroom.

Rosh Hashanah is just around the corner – we’re looking forward to spending the chag at family, friends and our fantastic Midreshet faculty who are generously hosting us.

Wishing everyone a Shana Tova and Ktiva v’Chatima Tova. 5776 is going to be great!
